I am the Chief of the Gastroenterology Department at Hospital Clínic Barcelona and a Professor at Universitat de Barcelona, focusing on research into hereditary gastrointestinal cancer syndromes, particularly the prevention of colorectal cancer in Lynch syndrome. My work aims to enhance our understanding of Lynch syndrome at both the clinical and molecular levels and to develop non-invasive methods for early diagnosis and prevention of colorectal cancer. Currently, I am investigating advanced immune-based strategies aimed at preventing cancer in Lynch syndrome.
