Kirsi Pylvänäinen

LSRFi Coordinator and Data Manager

Kirsi Pylvänäinen

I work as the LSRFi Coordinator and Data Manager. My duty is to ensure that all the Finnish Lynch syndrome registry trials meet all the EU regulations regarding safety, government rules and regulations, and company and hospital ethics. I’m keeping track of the patients in terms of health and progress, as well as the follow up results. I am also LSRFi Data Manager and strongly involved in the CAPP3 trial. I gather up patients for medical and drug trials by recruiting them and screening them to make sure they fulfil the inclusion criteria of the trial. I also ensure that all the materials and supplies used in the trial are kept safe before and during the trial, as well as all the documents recorded during and after the trial period. After the trial is performed, I analyze the results of the trial together with the involved team. Soon I will be taking part in the National Cancer Center East (FICAN East) as an area coordinator.
